Since 2002, The Original Michigan Lavender Festival has offered a true “Symphony for the Senses”. When you step through the doors the subtle, yet sweet aroma of lavender will begin to calm your nerves. Soothing harp music will add to your relaxing experience as it echoes throughout the event. The beautiful artisan booths will welcome you in with their impressive displays of handmade goodness for a wonderful shopping experience, and a variety of lavender-themed classes, artist workshops, and demonstrations offer a hands-on learning experience.
After growing exponentially over the past 19 years, this event has moved from the backyard of its founder to two other locations to better accommodate guests. Now well-established at our fourth and final location and conveniently located off of I-69 and M-53, the Original Michigan Lavender Festival now takes place at the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds in Imlay City, Michigan. Visitors are able to spread out and enjoy even more lavender goodness, along with excellent parking and accommodations.
We are the largest lavender festival on the east coast, featuring 175 artists and makers at our show. Our festival also features 18 of Metro-Detroit’s BEST Food Trucks and, as always, guests can learn about the many benefits of lavender, which include: Growing, harvesting, cooking, and crafting as well as learning about medicinal and aromatic uses for this beloved herb.
We are thrilled to announce that the dates for our 20th Annual Event have been set for June 3-4, 2022. General Admission is $8 for adults; $5 for active military and veterans (must show military ID), and children under 12 enter free. As always, parking is free.
We look forward to seeing you! Have a lavender day!
