Mackinaw City is known for a spectacular fire works display on the 4th of July. But fireworks is something that happens every Sunday and Friday evening in Mackinaw City. We start in May and conclude in late September, every Friday and Sunday evening in Conkling Park, at dusk overlooking beautiful Lake Huron. Our summer long fireworks celebration is fun for everyone, and absolutely free. Make it a day visit before the Fireworks and visit historic Colonial Michilimackinac State Park, hit the beach, cruise numerous bike trails, shop in Mackinaw Crossings, and much more!

The Mackinaw City Fireworks will begin at dusk. (In June approx. 9:00- 9:30) (July & Aug. approx. 10:00 – 10:30) 4th of July fireworks will be on Tuesday July 4, 2023.
