Trails run along the north and south borders of the park. Those on the north shore have connecting links to the north shore beaches. The North Beach and South Beach trails have connecting trails that provide many combinations of varied walking experiences. A new 1.6 mile long "family friendly" biking/hiking trail runs between the Copper Harbor Visitor Center and the Hunter's Point Parking Lot.
Access is from the Copper Harbor Marina on M-26 or the parking area 3/10 of a mile west of the Marina off M-26 on North Coast Shores Road to Harbor Coast Lane, at the end.
