In 1959 the dream was to take a 50-acre parcel of overgrown land on Ottawa Beach Road, lease the property from Park Township and turn it into one of the top 5 fairs in the state of Michigan. "We are proud to offer West Michigan one of the finest family summertime attractions and cleanest facilities." states Dave. We credit years of cleanliness and continuous care of our grounds to year-round care taker Viv Johnson. Viv was a fixture at the fairgrounds for over 53 years (1960-2013).
