Join us at 10 a.m. for our annual Back to the Bricks Classic Car Show! Each year, thousands stroll the brick streets on Saturday from 8:00am - 5:00pm to admire vehicles of every age and description, take pictures, buy souvenirs, and enjoy the fun. Show cars line up at the University of Michigan-Flint lot at the corner of Saginaw and Fifth Avenue.
The Opening Ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 am with a rousing salute to our veterans and active duty personnel. A special ceremony is being planned to honor the men and women of the armed forces for their service and sacrifice. The program will include an Invocation, inspiring performances of the National Anthem and God Bless America by special guest artists, and two flybys of amazing military aircraft. BttB's honors those who protect and defend the freedoms we hold dear, past and present, those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, and those who continue to answer the call.
For TEENS only! Join us for Hot Rod High, a program designed to offer teen and young adult visitors the opportunity to build and tinker with cool cars and hot rods, and in doing so, to not only introduce young people to collector cars as a hobby, but more importantly- in partnership with area high schools, skill centers, community colleges, and universities- to provide a unique opportunity to explore careers in a variety of automotive fields.
If you are interested in participating in the Opening Ceremony, please contact Dale Frey for more information.
