The Magic City Egg Fest is a culinary festival for lovers of the Big Green Egg, the world's best selling kamado-style grill, smoker and outdoor oven. The cooking competition is open to teams for $100.00 and includes all your meats and pizza dough. Each team will be assigned a Large Big Green Egg, charcoal, charcoal starters and everything you need to make the best darn barbecue in Michigan. Teams bring their barbecue expertise, bragging rights, and family secrets along with their utensils, grilling know-how, spice blends, barbecue sauce and braggadocios attitude! There are prizes and trophies for the best teams and the opportunity to purchase a once used Large Big Green Egg at a discounted event-only price.

If you prefer tasting to grilling, tasters tickets are available for $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door.

The first 200 entries receive a Big Green Egg swag bag and the ability to taste superb barbecue from more than 20 teams.
