It’s a 45 minute walk from Silver Lake or short drive with an ORV vehicle over the Dunes to reach this beautiful beach on Lake Michigan! Imagine access to nearly 2,000 acres of natural rolling sand dunes bordering Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. Dune vehicle rentals are available to help you get there. Access to this beach is from the ORV dune entrance area off 24th Ave. at Silver Lake.
Park in the pedestrian area parking lot (Michigan Passport Pass required) and walk back out the entrance and climb over a dune to the beach on the west side of Silver Lake. The other option is to boat across Silver Lake and moor on the beach and enjoy the Silver Lake Sand Dunes.
