Located on the Big Manistee River and Borski Bayou, the campground is host to Rustic river sites, electric and full hook-ups- 30 sites with sewer. Matson's Lodge sleeps 10-16, cabins and trailer rentals are also available. The surrounding National Forest offer some of Michigan's best fishing, hunting and camping. Come explore all that Michigan's lush North has to offer from the comfort of your own RV or one of our rental units. With walleye, pike, bass, salmon and steelhead plentiful in the waters of the Big Manistee River, summer, fall, winter and spring are the best seasons to plan your fishing getaway. Deer and Turkey abound in the surrounding National forrest making it the perfect location for both the avid and amateur hunter. Bird and wildlife watching will not disappiont in this beautiful Pure Michigan setting.
As we strive to provide the best experience possible for you, we continue to add and update our facilities. During your visit, be sure to check out our new lodge, newly remodeled convenience store, cabins and rental units. To ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible we also provide clean restrooms and hot showers, a laundry room, boat launch and dockage, bait & tackle, a fish cleaning station, campfire wood and a sanitation station (dumpsite). Groups welcome. River Guide service, casino, golf, and beautiful Lake Michigan is only 15 minutes away!
