North Higgins Lake State Park

North Higgins Lake located on what was once the world's largest seedling nursery, provides the variety of tree, plant, bird and animal species that make the park attractive for outdoor activities. The park is host to 174 modern campsites, picnicking, swimming, two mini-cabins and a boat launch. Over 8 miles of trails are available for hiking, cross-country skiing and biking. Additional features include on site CCC Museum, nature and fitness trails and a forest nursery interpretive area. Year-round camping is available.
